Rolling Tips – Simplified Instructions:

 

  • Assemble the frame pieces into a square shape. Press your prepared cake pop mix firmly into the center and roll it tightly until it slightly overflows the sides. You should have a mostly flat square of dough—it’s okay if it’s a bit raised in the middle. Just make sure to press well to remove any air pockets.
  • Place the dough square onto the bottom surface. Then press the top piece down to cut the dough into strips.
  • Take out the strips and place two at a time back onto the bottom surface, this time laying them across the ridges.
  • Gently press the lid over the dough strips, starting from the back and pulling it forward to begin shaping the cake balls.
  • Move the lid back and forth until you’ve formed smooth, round cake pop balls.
